I'll be the first to admit that when I started dating her son, our relationship was a cautious one. It's somewhat terrifying going up against the leading lady in your guy's life. Now that I am a mother of two boys I understand that it must have been terrifying for her to to meet the competition, so to speak. Today I can unreservedly say that she is the leading lady in my life too.
What a lovely lady. She looks so approachable and kind. I love what you said about her. I can only imagine how it feels to have your child start dating and loving someone new. I bet that is hard. I'm sure you made it easier for her. :)
