John jumped right in to be my assistant with the reflector. John is an engineer and I saw some of that engineering mind at work in the way that he worked out my lighting for me. I didn't even have to tell him what to do. He even suggested a scenario that I hadn't thought of for lighting his wife Nicole. I have a suspicion that he may be a photographer himself. He didn't say but he did keep us entertained with his guitar while Nicole and I chatted.
